Sessions & Fees

With most of my clients, I coincide with the psychotherapy norm, which is to say that I see them at the same time each week for 50 minutes. Some clients prefer to come for longer periods of time or come more than once a week, and I am able to accommodate this more often than not.

I offer free 15-20 minute phone consultations. This time is often helpful for you to get a sense of how I work and for me to determine if I’m the right person to meet your needs. If you or I feel like it’s not the right fit, I will give you referrals to other clinicians that I know and trust. I can also discuss my fee with you at this time. We will always agree upon a fee before beginning our work together.

I accept cash, personal checks and credit cards.

Insurance

I am an “out-of-network provider” for PPO insurances. At the end of each month, I will provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for partial reimbursement. It is often helpful to call your insurance company prior to starting therapy and ask how much they will cover and how much you will be responsible for. You may also want to ask how many psychotherapy sessions are covered annually by your insurer.

Cancellation Policy

Schedules and availability can change. If you must cancel your appointment, please do so 24 hours in advance. Failure to cancel more than 24 hours prior to your appointment, or no-showing will result in a charge for the full amount of the missed session.
